Do I need to know anything about servers or devops?

No. You connect a repository and point a domain at Edge. The machine, the container engine, the reverse proxy, the certificates, the database, the backups, the monitoring and the operating-system updates are run by S Technologies.

What happens to my existing Vercel project?

It keeps running while your Edge project is set up beside it. The site is built from the same repository, you get a preview URL to check, and DNS only moves when you are satisfied.

Can I run something other than a front end?

Yes, on one of the sibling services. Compute is a reserved machine of your own, Container is billed only while it runs, and Runner is a managed always-on service. Edge is the one built for front ends.

Where do my visitors connect to?

One region, one machine, behind Cloudflare. Multi-region serving is not offered. If it is a hard requirement, S Technologies will say so before you choose the service.

What is the uptime commitment?

Best effort. No uptime percentage is published yet.
