Server CLI
The stechbd command line for the S Technologies server panel: deploy from your disk, preview, roll back and manage applications, databases and domains.
Overview
Server CLI is the official command line for the S Technologies server panel. It installs the stechbd binary and lets you deploy, inspect and manage applications from a terminal. Your project is uploaded from your disk to S Technologies Edge (for front ends) or Compute (for everything else), with no Git host in between.
Key features
- Deploy from disk:
stechbd edge deploy:produploads and builds the local working tree..stechbdignoreand.gitignoreare respected. - Previews and promote: ship a named preview beside production, optionally on its own domain, then promote the tested preview as the same artifact.
- Rollback: return to the previous release with one command, and follow the live runtime log while you decide.
- Built for CI: every command takes
--json, exit codes are stable, and machine tokens let a pipeline deploy without a person. - Environment variables: pull values into
.env.localwith their scopes kept, and add secrets from stdin so they stay out of shell history. - Databases and backups: create a managed database, link it into an app, back up to S3 and run a restore drill. Cron jobs and DNS are managed in the same tool.
- Whole panel in one tool: 221 commands in 27 groups cover the panel API. For anything else,
stechbd apiworks likegh api. - Configuration in code: a
stechbd.jsonfile, committed next to your source, holds build and runtime settings. Secret values never go in it.
Requirements
- Node.js 20.12 or newer.
- Either pnpm or npm, to install the package.
- No runtime dependencies. The CLI is written in TypeScript.
